A New Home
It’s been a while since I last shared my thoughts.
It’s been a busy few months over here, and today is the day that I launch my new website.
A friend of mine encouraged me to just be out there as me, as that’s who people will connect with, not the name of my company.
With that encouragement in mind, www.ericagumieny.com is now live for your viewing pleasure.
I suppose this is another step forward. I feel like I’m getting closer - closer to my heart’s work. To help us stop believing lies and step forward into our truth and return to who we were created to be.
Pivotal Point, LLC, is still my company, and the concept still resonates with me as I know it does with others.
SO many of us have reached this pivotal point in our lives.
We’ve had enough of the nonsense that holds us back, despite our best efforts to stop or start. We know it’s time to shred that junk and move forward.
The truth is that knowing isn’t gonna cut it (sigh - I was really hoping overthinking would solve all the problems).
We gotta do the work.
BUT we don’t gotta do it alone.
I know I haven’t done it alone. Where would I be without God? Without my family? Without my friends?
I shudder even thinking of it.
This is why I wanted to change my branding a bit.
I wan to crystal clear about who I’m talking to.
I’m here for the ones who are ready for help because they want to MOVE FORWARD.
I’m here for those who can handle some humor and hard talks.
I’m here for people who laugh, cry and don’t mind me talking about my faith because for me, it’s foundational in all I do.
I’m here for the ones who need to feel seen as they are, to know they aren’t alone, and to know they have someone ready to sit, stand, and move forward with them.
Here are some of the things I’m working on and creating:
My new website is live, and you can /subscribe to get little nuggets like what your eyeballs are looking at now.
I’ll be writing on this blog more frequently as I’ve been asked to share more like I used to (careful for what you wish for). I started a substack as well if you are a fan of that community.
I have a new YouTube channel and hope to share some cool stuff. Don’t worry, The Funny Kind™ is still going strong, and there are some really awesome episodes coming up!
I've started offering a formal coaching program. I honestly fought this one for a long time because I was feeling like, dude, don’t look to me for answers. But as I’ve been working on my certification training, I’m realizing it's really what my heart has always longed for: to help women get where they want to go. It’s not about me anyways, those I serve have the answers within, and their God-given, beautiful design just needs space to reemerge and flow again. That’s what I’m gonna help with!
Speaking of flow, I’ve been speaking lately on the topic of being clogged up. It has really resonated with people. Desperately seeking more stuff to stuff into our already over-stuffed lives isn’t the answer. That’s the foundation of my coaching program. Assessing where you are now, what is clogging you up and what it’s gonna take to get the flow going so you can get where you wanna go!
Long story slightly long, you can still expect the deep thinking, sassy, faith-filled content you’ve come to expect from me, but I’m telling you - I’m gonna be laser focused on really helping us move forward.
It’s funny how even something as simple (not really, but you know what I mean) as changing my website triggered that little imposter insecurity voice that I have spent a long time quieting.
Even now, after all I’ve been working on, she still wants to be heard. I have to speak lovingly to her, she’s just trying to keep me safe. It’s okay honey, we’re gonna have fun and it’s gonna be great. Don’t worry.
Just goes to show that—even with progress—the work continues.
Our journey isn’t over, so let’s keep following forward - TOGETHER!
